Ford, Detroit and PlanetM Launch $250,000 Community Challenge to Improve Mobility Around Michigan Central Station
● Ford Motor Company investing $740M to restore Michigan Central Station, to create destination that will bring together civic organizations, urban planners, technologists, designers, companies and communities.
● Ford is collaborating with Detroit and PlanetM to launch the City:One Michigan Central StationChallenge, a community program to identify mobility challenges and solutions.
● Program will provide up to $250,000 to pilot solutions that address community-identifited mobility challenges, as well as $78,000 in stipends for groups to develop their proposals.
